Tamtamdi

More and more people are sharing amazing Pokémon Gijinka illustrations by Tamtamdi, and yesterday our own Rin-senpai had opportunity to interview this lovely persona, so let’s get to know this artist a bit better! :) Tamtamdi prefers to stay anonymous, but is willing to share some information about them and their art.
Tamtamdi comes from South Korea where they went to animation highschool, but is currently living in USA, where Tam majored in animation.
The whole story about the nickname creation was really cute, so we decided to share that as well :P
“ In South Korea, when you play games (like hide and seek) we do a minigame to set the teams.
However though, South Korea is quite small country and they call it all differently in different states,and the state I lived in called it "tamtambi”
I loved the sound.(I moved to this place when I was 15, and It was a shock that they call it different )…..sooooo I was looking for a nickname and I remembered that “tamtambi” sound and I just changed the b in d and made my nickname :D
So long story short I like the sound of it :D told you it wasn’t that big and interesting :D “

I don’t know about you folks, but Rin melted from cuteness, and will defend this unique nickname forever! :D
One more thing that makes this artist even more special to Rin, is that Tamtamdi is a Moomin fan as well
